Interkey Privacy Policy Effective October 23, 2026 ECSOFT (“we”) operates the keyboard app Interkey (번키, “Interkey”) and its website, and handles personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws. Because Interkey is a keyboard, we explain exactly what is sent, when, and where. 1. The short version · What you normally type is never stored or sent — including passwords and card numbers. · Android shows every keyboard app the same warning that it “may be able to collect all the text you type”. Interkey does not collect what you type. · We do not collect your name, phone number, e-mail, advertising ID, location or contacts. Interkey identifies you only by a random ID created by the app. · Nothing is exchanged with our server until you agree to this policy and the Terms when you first open the app. 2. Information we process and why ① When you start the app (agreeing to the Terms) — required · Items: random user ID created by the app, device credential (stored on the server only as an irreversible hash), platform (Android/iOS), device model, OS version, app version, IP address · Purpose: granting and managing translation points, preventing abuse such as claiming the welcome points repeatedly, keeping the service stable ② When you use Translate or Copy translation · Items: the text to translate, source and target languages · Purpose: sent to Google Translate so we can return the translation. · What stays on our server: we do not store the text. Only the number of characters, languages, time and processing time are recorded to deduct points. · Text is sent only when you tap [Translate] or [Copy translation]. If you set Copy translation to “Translate right away”, text you copy is sent for translation automatically when the keyboard opens (the default is “Ask first”). ③ When you buy translation points · Items: product ID, price, store order number, purchase verification data (Google Play purchase token, App Store transaction), points granted · Purpose: verifying payment, granting points, handling refunds and disputes · Card numbers and other payment details are handled by Google and Apple; we never receive them. ④ Crash reports (Android) · Items: app version, device brand and model, Android version, error details (stack trace), memory size, app start and crash time · Purpose: finding and fixing bugs. Sent only after you agree to the Terms and only when the app crashes. Typed text, settings and device logs are never included. ⑤ When you contact us · Items: your e-mail address and whatever you write to us · Purpose: answering you, checking refunds and points ⑥ Website (www.transkeyboard.com) · No cookies. Only your chosen display language is saved in your browser. · The web server keeps access logs (IP address, time, requested URL, browser information) for security. Fonts are loaded from jsDelivr (CDN). 3. Information that stays on your device The following is stored only on your device and never sent to our server: · Keyboard settings, layout and skin choices, skins you create and their background photos · Text you copy (read on the device for Copy translation — sent only as described in ②) · Screenshots made in the search screen (kept in a temporary folder and deleted after a day) · Pronunciation (computed on the device). Listening uses your device's text-to-speech, which, depending on your settings, may be processed by your OS provider (Google or Apple). Search sends your query directly to the search engine you choose (Naver, Google, Daum, YouTube); that company's privacy policy applies. 4. How long we keep it · User ID, device information, point history: while you use the service; deleted without delay when you ask (except records the law requires us to keep) · Payment and point-grant records: 5 years (Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) · Complaint and dispute records: 3 years (same Act) · Access logs (IP address etc.): 3 months (Korean Protection of Communications Secrets Act) · Crash reports: 1 year from receipt · Text you translate: not stored (discarded right after translation) 5. How we delete it When the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, we delete the information without delay so that it cannot be recovered. We do not keep paper records. 6. Sharing with third parties We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except with your consent or when required by law through due legal process. 7. Processors and international transfers To translate and to verify purchases we use the following processors, which involves sending information outside Korea. · Google LLC (USA) — Google Cloud Translation Items: text to translate, source and target languages / When and how: each time you request a translation, over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) / Retention: as needed to translate, under Google's data processing terms / Contact: policies.google.com/privacy · Google LLC (USA) — Google Play purchase verification Items: product ID, purchase token / When and how: at purchase, over HTTPS / Retention: under Google Play's policies App Store payments are processed by Apple; we verify the transaction signed by Apple on our own server (nothing further is sent to Apple). Typing, pronunciation and the other features keep working. 8. Your rights · You may ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information at any time. E-mail us and we will act without delay (within 10 days at the latest). · Since Interkey does not collect your name or contact details, please include your receipt's order number, or your device and roughly when you used the app, so we can find your data. · Deleting the app removes everything on the device, including the random ID, and the data on our server can no longer be linked to that device.
