Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern use of the mobile game BubbleDuo (the “Service”), provided by an individual developer, [developer name] (the “Developer”).

2. Acceptance

By installing and running the Service you agree to these Terms. The Service requires no sign-up or account and identifies users by device.

3. What the Service provides

• Single player — all stages and game features, free of charge.
• Leaderboard — global ranking of submitted scores and stages reached.
• Online play — a server relays data so two players can play together in real time.

4. Paid feature

Only hosting an online match is paid.

1. You receive 3 free matches first. A free match is consumed only when a match is actually established — failed connections or a partner who never joins do not count.
2. After that, hosting requires a one-time, non-consumable purchase. There is no subscription or recurring charge.
3. Guests who join an invitation never pay.
4. Payment is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their policies. The Developer does not hold your payment details.
5. Prices vary by store, country and currency; the amount shown at purchase is final.

5. Ownership and restore

The purchase is tied to the store account used to pay. On a new device or reinstall, sign in with the same store account and use restore purchases in the app. Because the Service has no accounts of its own, entitlement cannot be moved to a different store account.

6. Refunds

1. Because payment goes through the stores, refunds follow the applicable store's refund policy and process.
2. You may withdraw your purchase as permitted by applicable law. Statutory exceptions may apply where the benefit has already been consumed.
3. If a store refund is not possible, contact us and we will review the case, guide you through the store process, or help within what we can do.
4. If a Service fault prevented you from using the paid feature, we will support a refund or equivalent remedy after verifying it.

7. User obligations

• Do not reverse-engineer or modify the Service, or manipulate results, scores, or purchase status.
• Do not overload the servers or interfere with normal operation.
• Do not impersonate others or use nicknames containing abusive, discriminatory, or hateful language.
• Do not infringe others' rights, including intellectual property rights.

We may delete affected records, restrict leaderboard submission, or restrict access where violations are confirmed.

8. Changes and discontinuation

We may change or discontinue the Service. If the Service, including the paid feature, is discontinued, we will give at least 30 days' notice on this page and in the app. Refunds for non-consumable purchases at discontinuation follow applicable law and store policy.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, network faults, or events beyond our control.

9. Intellectual property

Rights in the software, graphics and audio belong to the Developer or the respective rights holders. You may not copy, distribute, transmit, or create derivative works without prior consent.

10. Disclaimer

• We are not liable for damage caused by matters outside our control, such as your device environment, network conditions, or store policy changes.
• Online play depends on both players' network conditions; we do not guarantee any particular connection quality.
• Liability for our wilful misconduct or gross negligence is not excluded.

11. Changes to these Terms

Changes are posted here with an effective date. Changes that disadvantage users are announced at least 30 days in advance; if you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and uninstall the app.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will first be addressed in good faith between the parties; jurisdiction otherwise follows the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
